About Me
Hey there, reader! Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my website! Let me introduce myself really quickly: I am Nicholas Fagen, a 29-year-old Gannon University graduate with a major in English and a minor in Journalism Communications. After officially earning my degree in May of 2017, I returned to the Chicagoland area and am currently the Head of Storytelling and Marketing at LW&CO!
If I could describe myself in one word? Passion.
If passion isn't involved, I don't want it!
I've genuinely loved helping people for as long as I can remember. I'd do anything & everything for my loved ones.
On the personal side of things, I am an adamant sucker for science fiction, baseball, and every single variation of music! Creating a blog (04/2021) was a long time coming, after numerous failed attempts and consistent encouragement from family & friends. Shout out to all of you who continued to push me! (I certainly needed it again and again.)
On top of many of my other in-depth interests, the journey of crafting words to paper began in Kindergarten and never seemed to cease. In a dream world, I would write screenplays for TV/Film, however I started this blog solely because I wanted to help people and, though I don’t necessarily have the utmost confidence in my day-to-day writing, I decided to ultimately be openly vulnerable with every inner thought and feeling, at the potential benefit of my readers (only to discover later on of the additional benefit to myself as well).
I'm no Shakespeare, but I hope to be able to provide readers with several laughs and smiles, along with sincere comfort and relatability in the individuality of each particular blog and creative piece.
If I'm able to help just one person get through a rough day or inspire someone to somehow pay it forward, I would thoroughly consider that a grand success.
Whether you’re an old friend, an acquaintance, coworker, or a complete stranger, I appreciate the heck out of you for visiting my site and wholeheartedly hope that I can give something back to you that you wouldn’t have access to otherwise!
